About the WebsiteAlthough William Stafford had been recommended to me twice before I knew who he was, I first came across his poems in the stacks of my college library in 2006. Since that moment I have continuously read, written and thought about him. I eventually began a blog about Stafford, and it was well received by the few who saw it, but I felt the need to provide a starting point for those who are not immersed in his work, as well as a place to go deeper for those who so desired. There has always been a lot of web content related to Stafford but no central collection point until the William Stafford Online Reader. I hope this website can help with finding poems and books, as well as guide creative engagement for artists and researchers.
